amap  is a great resource for instigating discussion. Follow the on-screen instructions to create an interactive mind map. Click on Reply to respond to a discussion (you’ll need to delete previous comments). Here’s an example designed for teaching How Science Works, but it is possible to use the software for the teaching of all topics and subjects.

Use it to collect responses to questions set as homework or to kick off a lively discussion!
