    LOL. The language is colourful but I think it’s really clever! My history teacher used to relay things to us in a similar way, she’d say “… and then France said ‘No, sorry! We’re not going to put up with this anymore’…”. I always found it engaging.

    Not quite about setting a Facebook page for newsfeed of a particular history event but regarding the presence of a particular moment in time documented by students on Facebook:

    In August 2013 a group of teens from “N. Lenau” High School (a German profile lyceum from Timisoara) together with colleagues from Germany started a bilateral project to research the local history of Jewish presence in our town, entitled “A Different History”.

    They used a lot of digital tools for their study:
    – a Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/istoriaaltfel.TM
    – a blog http://istoriaaltfel.wordpress.com/
    – took a lot of photos, made posters (see the Facebook page), audio/video interviews etc.

    The final product is a movie that can be seen on Youtube:
