I’ve been meaning to share this video for ages, I think it’s brilliant and it showcases what kids can do. The video is in Welsh (because it’s a Welsh medium school) and the title ‘Atalnodi’ means punctuation. It stresses the importance of good punctuation and gives some of the basic rules, including some peculiarly Welsh rules about how the initial letters of words change in particular circumstances. We think the words, the choreography, the filming, the editing and the graphics are amazing – very proud of them.
By the way, the video was made by pupils of Ysgol Gyfun Gartholwg (Gartholwg Comprehensive School) and Nic Daniels used to teach some of them. It is near Pontypridd in Wales and is the school where we are hosting the next Taccle team meeting.
If anyone has video, audio or other content your pupils have created and would like to share, please send it to us!
Llongyfarchiadau Gartholwg – mae’n wych!
Anhygoel! Who knew that learning about punctuation could be so much fun! I hope there are other instalments covering mutations and verb tenses! Hehe
